
Congress General Secretary Patricia King was a keynote speaker at a webinar organised by the ICTU Women's Committee marking International Women's Day March 8th. Contributors discussed how to tackle male violence against women and girls in work and society.
This webinar examined the practical ways trade unions can use ILO Convention 190 and also heard how unions are developing policies to support victims of domestic abuse as well as supporting members who have experienced sexual harassment. The ILO Convention is a new international standard that trade unions can use to negotiate effective remedies and workplace policies. View below
