Prior to the onset of Covid, the Health Sector Group was engaged in developing a comprehensive briefing that set out the case for a publicly-funded system of universal healthcare.
As public health restrictions ease, it is expected this initiative will again be a focus, along with work in respect of employment standards across the Nursing Home sector.
