Creative Industries

The Creative Industries throughout Ireland have been hugely successful to the economies of both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Part of that success depends on investment through Government funding from both the Irish Government and the Northern Ireland Assembly through the respective Arts Councils and Public Investment for Film and Television. We urge ICTU to continue to lobby the respective Governments to ensure that investment continues and grows as part of a strategic plan to build a successful economy both North and South. However any investment should always ensure that workers are engaged on Industry Standard contracts no matter where a company is based.
