This conference condemns the brutal murder of PSNI member Ronan Kerr. This brutal act and other acts of violence have no place in our society and the sole aim of those involved in this violence is to return our society to conflict. Conference re-affirms it's commitment to achieving political progress through democratic means as mandated by the people in both jurisdictions on the island. Conference further confirms its objective to achieve a better life for all workers on the island of Ireland through the functioning of normal democratic Government. To this end Congress will pursue the achievement of an inclusive island wide dynamic economy premised on social and economic rights for all citizens.
