Conference directs the incoming Executive Council to request the European Trade Union Confederation to establish a Unit sufficiently staffed by personnel with the appropriate qualifications and skills to monitor the fiscal and labour market structural reform agenda as it is unfolding in each Eurozone country, with particular regard to those which are the subject of bailout programmesand other stressed economies. The objective of this initiative would be to monitor the agenda as it unfolds as well as the response to the Trade Union Movement in each country so as to facilitate the development of a co-ordinated response. Conference also authorises the incoming Executive to contribute to the funding of such a Unit on a proportionate basis and to levy affiliates as appropriate to this end.
