Worker Directors on Boards

That this Biennial Delegate Conference re-affirms the support of the ICTU for industrial democracy and, in particular, believes that it is imperative that State Agencies which operate under a Board should have Worker Directors on the Board. Furthermore, Conference directs the Executive Council to seek a commitment from the Government that any legislation which establishes new statutory bodies with Boards will make specific provision for the election of Worker Directors.
