Securing Reproductive Rights for Women

Conference endorses Motion 15 Reproductive Health and Justice endorsed at Congress Women's Conference 2016. Conference calls on the incoming Executive Council to: Demand that international human rights standards on women's and reproductive rights be applied in both jurisdictions on the island of Ireland Continues to work for the repeal of the 8th Amendment of the Irish Constitution, and decriminalisation in both jurisdictions continues to work directly through the trade union movement and in cooperation with our allies in the women's equality and human rights sectors.
