Conference notes with concern the NI Equality Commissions 2017 report on key inequalities in the workplace. Trade Unions have made massive gains on equality in workplaces across N Ireland but there is still significant work to do.
Conference calls on the incoming NIC-ICTU to launch;
- A fresh workplace based equality campaign
- A campaign to strengthen NI equality employment legislation
• A political campaign to ensure strategies are put in place to tackle inequalities in the workplace.
