This conference calls on NICICTU to develop an innovative industrial and manufacturing strategy and to campaign for its full implementation.
Manufacturing and quality jobs in general in Northern Ireland, have come under threat in recent weeks, months and indeed years.
This threat is not unique to us and we must look to incorporate international best practice and policy into the strategy. The development and delivery of this strategy, if done correctly will assist to fulfil some of the aims and demands of the Better Work, Better Lives campaign.
