Conference congratulates the Northern Ireland Committee on its commitment to the Better Work Better Lives Campaign.
Conference is particularly concerned about the serious – and often hidden –impact that low pay and lack of decent work, lack of investment in our public services, and the refusal to end the 1% public sector pay cap is having on the mental health of workers at all levels of society.
Conference calls on the Northern Ireland Committee to ensure that the issue of the mental health of workers is a key message of the campaign moving forward.
