Commenting on the recent Work Relations Commission case relating to Anne Roper, the former RTÉ Producer, ICTU Industrial Officer Liam Berney said: 'the Government needs to work with employers and unions to bring certainty and clarity to people coming towards retirement age".
RTÉ said it would appeal the ruling to the Labour Court, a move described by NUJ Irish secretary Séamus Dooley as "disappointing".
