A meeting of our Executive Council was held in the historic setting of the Oak Room in the Mansion House today, the first in-person Executive meeting in over two years.
Dublin's Lord Mayor Alison Gilliland hosted the event. Opening the proceedings she said, 'trade unions play a significant role not only in workers' lives but in all our lives, they are advocates for fairness, equality, a just climate transition, and progressive social change'.
The meeting, chaired by ICTU President Kevin Callinan, heard reports from members of the Executive Council on a range of issues affecting trade union members across the island.
