The Congress Housing Campaign aims to develop a broad, civil societuy coalition and consensus around the need for policyt change and on how the crisis might be tackled.
We have developed a 10 point platform setting out the key measures that we see as critical to resolving the crisis that would, we believe, prevent a similar crisis emerging again in the future. At the heart of the programme is a recognition that the state must play a central role in housing its citizens and that we should penalise those who might frustrate that goal, through land hoarding or similar activities.
