Today, 18 April 2018, the Palestinian ambassador, Ahmad Abdelrazek, met with members of the Congress executive and Global Solidarity Committee. The Ambassador outlined the ongoing suffereing of the Palestinian people and thanked the irish trade union movement for the solidarity shown over the years. He urged support for official recognition by the Irish Government of the State of Palestine and encouraged boycott of the illegal Settlements and all related activity.
