Trade union delegates from all over the world prepare to attend the 59th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW59), taking place in New York from 9-20 March 2015.
The trade union delegation will urge governments to take bold steps to deliver on the implementation of the Beijing platform for action, especially as they negotiate a new sustainable development framework. It is time to live up to past commitments, to uphold and support respect of fundamental rights at work and notably expand women's access to paid employment and decent work.
