Congress hosted a webinar on 2nd October in relation to the recently negotiated ILO Convention 190 on violence and harassment in the world of work. (Accompanying Reccomendation 206 here)
Marie Clarke Walker from the Canadian Labour Congress was the lead negotiator for the workers group during the discussions and shared her perspective on the convention and the importance of gaining widespread ratification.
Fiona Ward represented the Department of Enterprise and Employment during the ILO negotiations and spoke aboput Ireland's ratification plans.
