Congress today notes the acceptance by Ryanair Pilots, represented by Fórsa and IALPA, of proposals aimed at settling a dispute relating to conditions of employment at the airline. These proposals were drawn up during negotiations between Ryanair management and Fórsa and IALPA with the assistance of Congress.
Speaking after the announcement of the ballot, Congress General Secretary, Patricia King , said that the vote marks the beginning of the normalisation of relations between Ryanair, their staff and the unions representing staff in the company. She urged the company to build on the opportunity created by this important decision and to move immediately to conclude collective agreements with the unions representing staff in all parts of the airline.
